Cocktail™ Mai Tai Geum is a prolific and long-blooming perennial that is very easy to grow. Single to double blooms are 1 inch wide, slightly nod, and sit on top of wiry red stems. The vermillion flowers have ruffled petals that fade to a light peach with time. This plant blooms from late spring until early summer. Once the blooms are done, the flowers transition to fluffy seed heads. The stems have few leaves and feature ruffled mid-green basal foliage.
This clump-forming plant can be used in beds, borders, and containers. As a medium-sized plant, this beauty is a good fit for the middle or rear of a bed. Trim the flowers to use in arrangements.
