This splendid introduction from the late Eleanor Lachman is one of the most stunning hostas from her renowned breeding program. Hosta ‘Hampshire County’ makes a 2′ tall x 30″ wide clump of large, corrugated, blue-green leaves that, with age, develop a 1.5″ wide creamy white margin. There are few hostas even today that can rival the exquisite beauty of this hosta. The clumps are topped with 28″ tall spikes of near-white flowers in late spring.
