This new introduction from Gil Jones’ breeding program is a hosta breakthrough. The combination of H. sieboldiana ‘Northern Halo’ x H. plantaginea cross is a difficult match to make because of the distant relation of the two parents. The result was a wonderful blue-green H. sieboldiana-like leaf on a vigorously growing 54″ wide clump. In early summer, the clumps are topped with 33″ tall scapes of pure white fragrant flowers…what a hosta!
