Days to Harvest: 90. Leaves are a medium green with a nicely elongated stem 20-23 cm (8-9″) long and 5-7 cm (2-3″) thick. Mild tasting white stems are absolutely delicious in sautes, soups, etc.
Sowing: Best started indoors in February-March. Transplant later in spring when plants are around 20 cm (8″) tall. Can be directly seeded in April-June.
Comments: An early light application of a high nitrogen fertilizer is beneficial.
