This vintage 1959 “Mother Embracing Child” Goebel W. Germany (Hummel) figurine features a kneeling mother holding her child in a sweet embrace. Both are dressed in soft white and pastel blue gowns, adorned with pink flowers. There’s even a small brown rabbit sitting at her feet. The mother’s name is Charlot. The gowns are done in a gloss finish. The rest of the figurine is done in a matte glaze.
There is a small sticker near her feet that reads “Mother Embracing Child”.
Incised and stamped on the bottom are the following items: Goebel W. Germany logo Model : Byj36 Date: 1959
