This hard-to-find pachysandra selection is a boon to gardeners in southern climates. With a spreading growth habit similar to Pachysandra terminalis, this selection, developed by Dale Chapman and the University of Connecticut, loves the heat and humidity of the South while other Pachysandra terminalis withers away. Pachysandra ‘Green Sheen’ has incredibly glossy, evergreen foliage (very disease and deer-resistant), as though just doused with a gallon of leaf shine. For covering the ground in a very shady or part sun location, this can’t be beat.
