SOWINGIf you dont need to be the first in your neighborhood to have tomatoes you can plant this seed outdoors when the ground is warm and after all danger of frost is past. Otherwise, start the seed indoors 4 to 6 weeks earlier. Cover seed withinch of fine soil, well pressed down.
THINNINGWhen plants are 2 to 3 inches tall, if outdoors thin to 2 to 3 feet apart, if indoors transplant 2 inches apart until the weather warms then transplant outdoors as above.
GERMINATIONGerminates in 7 to 14 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKSThis variety grows 5 to 6 feet tall and best quality fruits will be produced on plants that are staked or caged. Tomatoes are of a tropical origin and prefer warm weather. Do not plant or set outside too early. Maintain good fertility during the growing season.
