Five foot tall by ten feet wide evergreen shrub with white flower clusters withnarrow aromatic leaves. They boom in May through August. Both the flower and foliage has a sweet fragrance like freshly cut cedar with a bouquet of lavender. Woolly Blue Curls is native to dry slopes, south coast ranges of California.
Sometimes this plant suffers from root rot in the summer heat waves. You should remove your plant after it dies and plant new ones in a different location in your garden in fall. You can encourage the plant to produce more roots and foliage by pinching off the first couple of flowering stems before they develop. Young plants should be lightly pinched to encourage more branches and flowering stems.

It has been said thatleaves, flowers and stems make a nice tea, supposedly has a positive effect on mood, stomachache, memory.

This is a tricky plant and its very sensitive to over-watering in summer. In general, while spectacular, its easy to kill! Not for the faint of heart!
