Delicate refers to its colouringthe flowers are of the palest apricot, with hints of peach-pink and cream. Tough refers to the fact that it is, like most tulips, perfectly hardy in the UK climate.
A darwin hybrid tulip variety (in Division 4 of the tulip grouping system), Tulip ‘Apricot Pride’ has large flowersoften 12.5cmthat are held upright on strong, sturdy stems 50-60cm high.
